Welcome to the newest TN VOAD members, The Tennessee Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod – Mid-South District.

The Tennessee Cooperative Baptist Fellowship has the capability to assign trained volunteer work crews for disaster clean-up, and home repair and rebuilding after a disaster. We look forward to working with the group through its VOAD contact Mr. Mike Young.

The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod is a new member (sort of). Previously, Rev. John Freitag represented the Tennessee Lutheran Disaster Response at Tennessee VOAD Meetings. That responsibility has now been taken over by Ms. Kathy Thoreson; and the Missouri Synod – Mid-South District has become a Tennessee VOAD member in its own right, with John as the VOAD contact.

Please take the opportunity to introduce yourself to Mike and Kathy at our next meeting.

Speaking of which, the next regularly scheduled Tennessee VOAD meeting will be held on August 7^th, at a location to be announced.
